M has a head cold AND a cyst in her ear (which I had never heard of prior to a week ago AND which is likely to be lanced on Christmas Eve for goodness sake) AND mild conjunctivitis. Basically, she is sick enough to not be able to spend 7 hrs in school without making everyone believe I am a terrible parent, but she is not sick enough to not want to be moving and talking and touching everything and interacting 100% of the time. She is also not nearly sick enough to be calm and compliant, which happens when she is super sick, and which I guiltily fully enjoy. So we walked the dogs this a.m. Dogs are warm. The ground is not. M, "MOM. Look at that! Why does their poop have a BREATH?"
